Tractor Used for Community Service Stolen from Flint Church
Police are looking for information about a tractor and equipment stolen from a local church on Sunday.
A tractor and front-end loader were stolen from Asbury United Methodist Church in Flint last weekend. The church is on the corner of Davison Road and Minnesota Avenue. The pastor of the church is also the director of the Asbury Community Development Corp., which is a non-profit that helps the surrounding community.
The tractor and other stolen equipment, which were purchased in the summer of 2018, were used to clear vacant lots and run a commercial farm. They were in a locked, fenced off area, and it appears that the wires and locks were cut. The stolen items have a price tag of over $25,000.
If you have any information, please call the Flint Police Department at 810-237-6800.
