If you've been meaning to vote in Michigan's August primary but keep telling yourself, "I'll do it later," well... later officially starts Saturday.

How to Vote Early in Flint

Early in-person voting begins Saturday, July 25, and runs through Sunday, August 2, giving Michigan voters two full weeks, including both weekends, to cast their ballot before Election Day on Tuesday, August 4.

Instead of waiting until Election Day, voters can visit their designated early voting location, fill out their ballot, and feed it directly into the tabulator, just like they would on August 4. Once your ballot is accepted, you're done.

Where To Vote Early In Flint

For Flint residents, according to ABC 12, early voting will take place inside the City Council Chambers on the third floor of Flint City Hall. Voting hours are weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and weekends 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you live in Grand Blanc Township, you'll have an extra opportunity to vote early, with an additional day available on Monday, August 3.

You Can Still Register To Vote

Haven't registered yet? Michigan's same-day voter registration law makes it easy. Eligible voters can register in person at their city or township clerk's office all the way until 8 p.m. on Election Day. Just bring proof of residency, and you can register and vote during the same visit.
