Michigan Woman Wins $1M on Instant Ticket Sold at Meijer Gas Station
A Michigan woman who has always believed she would win a large lottery jackpot has cashed in for $1 million on a ticket she bought at a Meijer gas station.
The 40-year-old woman from Oakland County said she has always had this feeling that one day she and her husband would win big.
"We always had a feeling the day would come where we won big, and it’s a blessing that it really happened!”
Winning Ticket Sold at Meijer Gas Station
The lucky player, who has chosen to stay anonymous, tells the Michigan Lottery she bought her winning ticket at the Meijer gas station on Haggerty Highway in Commerce Township. Commerce Township is in Oakland County, northwest of Detroit.

The big win was scored on a Michigan Lottery Hamilton instant ticket. The player says she and her husband were thrilled when they scratched off the ticket and learned that they'd won $1 million.
“My husband and I play instant tickets all the time,” she said. “When we scratched off our Hamilton ticket and saw we won $1 million, we were ecstatic!"
The player says she plans to use the winnings to buy a new car and then save the rest.
