"He picked out this Jackson ticket for me and I scratched it as soon as I got it," he says. "When I saw I won $2 million, my jaw hit the floor and stayed there! I was in total awe, and honestly, I still am! I can’t begin to explain the feeling of winning this amount of money."

Keeping the News a Secret

The man went on to say that he hasn't shared the news with anyone yet - except for the friend who picked up the winning ticket at the Orchard Market Place in Farmington Hills. He plans to surprise his family by showing them his winning ticket.

He tells the Michigan Lottery that he plans to use the money to invest and save for his children's education.
