Gas Prices In Genesee County Jump More Than 30 Cents Per Gallon

I stopped at the Admiral station over at Richfield and Center this afternoon. After prepaying $2.14 a gallon for regular unleaded, I returned to my car. While I was pumping, the clerk that just rang me up was walking out to the sign at the road.

To my surprise, the gas price jumped 34 cents right before my eyes! Now, it's $2.48 a gallon!?! That's more than a 15% increase! Genesee is usually one of the cheapest counties in the state for gas prices, so how bad is this statewide... or nationwide?
