If you're heading north this weekend you need to take a look at this information.

The Michigan Department of Transportation will be finishing up work along the I-75 Zilwaukee Bridge. The work began last summer. If you recall last year, MDOT completed work on the southbound Lanes of the Z-Bridge. This year, work shifts to the northbound side.

It all starts today, with single lane closures on I-75 at the South Junction with I-675 at the North Junction. Crews will do in prep work for the lane shift on Saturday. Saturday morning, MDOT will shift northbound I-75 traffic to I-675. That will begin the first phase of work for the second year of construction across the bridge.

We complain when the roads are bad..so let's be patient when they fix them.
