Chief Veach said:
The body was badly decomposed from being in the water for so long, so it was difficult to determine if there was any foul play. We won’t know for sure until we hear back from the medical examiner.
The victim had no identification, and the investigation is ongoing, according to MLive. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mt. Morris Township Police Department at 810-785-1311.
Recent Human Remains Discoveries Across Michigan
This is just the latest in a series of disturbing discoveries not only in Genesee County, but across the state. In March, a property owner found human remains on newly purchased land.

Days later, two bodies were discovered at a Meijer store on Tittabawassee Road in Saginaw. Last month, two additional cases were reported, one along US-127 and another in a vacant lot in Detroit.
