If you’ve ever been to the Meijer on Tittabawassee Road near Saginaw, this story is going to hit a little different. This is one of those situations where something really heavy was happening right in plain sight, and most people had no idea. Within just a few days, two separate bodies were found at that same store according to ABC 12..

What Happened at the Meijer Parking Lot

The first was an 81-year-old man. Investigators say he pulled into the parking lot on March 6, went inside, did some shopping like anyone else would, and then went back out to his car. That’s where things took a turn.

A couple of days later, on March 8, someone noticed him unresponsive, slumped between the seats. Authorities say there’s no sign of foul play, but at last check, they were still trying to track down his family.

Remains Found Behind the Store Identified

Then, just a few days after that, something even more unsettling happened behind the store. A man walking his dog while his wife was inside shopping noticed something in a brushy area. The dog actually led him to it. What he found was a human skull. Deputies searched the area and ended up finding a full set of remains nearby, along with what looked like a makeshift shelter built around a fallen tree.

Now we know who that person was. WJRT reports that his name was Santiago Clark. He was 32-years-old, and investigators say he appears to have been homeless. They believe he may have died months ago, possibly sometime last summer, and somehow went completely unnoticed back there the entire time. Again, no signs of foul play, but the exact cause of death is still unclear.

Two Very Different Situations, Same Location

Two people, completely different situations, both connected to the same place and discovered just days apart. One in a car in the middle of a busy parking lot, the other living quietly behind the store where nobody even realized he was there.
