Flint Brick Convention Brings First-Ever LEGO Event to Town

If you've got kids... or let's be honest, if you're an adult who's still got a closet full of LEGO sets, this might be one of the coolest events Flint has ever hosted.

LEGO Masters Stars And Incredible Builds Coming To Flint

The very first Flint Brick Convention is coming to the Dort Financial Center August 22nd and 23rd, bringing in professional LEGO builders from all over the country. You'll get to check out incredible displays, meet contestants from LEGO Masters, and even watch live builds happening throughout the weekend.

It's not just about looking either. They'll have thousands of bricks available in the Construction Zone where you can build your own creations, plus a Star Wars area, rare LEGO vendors, retired sets, and local builders showing off some seriously impressive work.

Family-Friendly LEGO Event Benefits Children In Need

One of the best parts? A portion of every ticket sold goes to the Build Smiles Foundation, a nonprofit that donates brand-new LEGO sets to children in need during the holidays.

Tickets are just $15, but organizers say they expect them to sell out according to ABC 12. So if your family has even one LEGO fanatic in the house, you may want to grab those sooner rather than later.

This feels like one of those events that's going to become an annual tradition if Flint shows up.
