Over 100 Mid-Michigan Schools and Businesses Close Ahead of Below Zero Temps in the Flint Area

It's one thing to close school due to snow and ice. But it takes extreme conditions to close schools in areas where freezing cold, harsh conditions and relentless attacks from Mother Nature are a normal occurrence. In Genesee County, Friday, January 23 will be one of those days.

Before 8pm on Thursday, January 22, virtually all schools in Genesee and Lapeer Counties have called off classes for tomorrow.
