A popular instant coffee sold at Dollar General stores in Michigan is being recalled because it may contain glass fragments, part of a nationwide alert affecting 48 states.

Coffee Recall Hits Michigan

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the recall was issued after a customer notified Dollar General about the issue. Customers who purchased the recalled coffee are being asked to immediately discard the product and contact Dollar General for a full refund.

The FDA says Dollar General is actively investigating the source of the glass contamination and apologizes for any inconvenience. No injuries have been reported as of Tuesday, August 12, according to People.

The affected products were sold between July 9 and July 21.
