The murder of Calvin 'Duper' Munerlyn has left our city heartbroken, but the two suspects are still at large.

The MSP and U.S. Marshals have issued a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the two suspects. Ramonyea Bishop and Larry Teague are the men wanted in connection with the murder. The story has been plastered all over the media since the senseless murder happened on May 1st.

I am honestly having a hard time writing about this on a personal level. I knew 'Duper' and what a positive impact he had on his extended family and community. Looking at the smiles on the faces of the two men wanted for the murder in the pic above is infuriating. Even if they are not "smiling" and it's possible that I'm letting my grief twist the way I am looking at the picture.

Duper's family members are finding ways to deal with the heartache of his loss by emulating the spirit he showed every day. A GoFundMe was set up shortly after Duper was murdered, and as of today they have raised more than $360,000. I know that there is no amount of money that will ease the pain felt by his family, but it is a testament of how many people were impacted by Duper.

I think the worst part about all of this is how many peoples lives have been turned upside down over a stupid decision. Duper's extended family will never be the same. The mother cited with starting the confrontation is in jail, and her kids are now without a parent. Two men are being hunted by police, and will never again lead a normal life. The extent of this tragedy will never be fully captured.

US Marshals are asking that if you have any information about Teaue or Bishop that you contact them immediately. You can submit information online here, or call their tip lines at 866-865-8477. You can also contact the MSP or Crimestoppers with any information.

Our hearts are broken for Duper and his family. I just hope that his spirit will continue to spread the joy through them.
