Fans Want to Know: When Will Ross Dress for Less Open in Burton, MI?
Ross Dress for Less is coming to Burton in Courtland Center, in place of the old Staples as we first reported in April of this year. Staples announced it was closing the store just days before the Ross announcement.
It's been a few months since Staples closed. So, we've been wondering when Ross Dress for Less will actually open?

While not many details are available, we called the new store near Lansing to see if they had any intel.
An employee didn't have a specific date but did share they'll have more store openings in October of 2023 and March of 2024.
The future Burton, MI location has a sign up stating it's the future home of Ross, but no other details. In fact, if you look closely, Staples' store closing signs are still in the front windows.
Ross Dress for Less Opening Multiple Locations Around Michigan
Following the closure of other retailers like Bed Bath & Beyond, Ross was able to scoop up prime real estate. This marks a retail invasion, of sorts, for the company.
Other locations include:
- White Lake (now open)
- Lansing (now open)
- Southgate (future)
- Burton (future)
Considering inflation hasn't calmed much, the opening of Ross will be a welcome relief for folks looking for quality at a reasonable price. The company buys out inventory from other retailers at a discount of 20% to 60%. That includes clothing for women, men and children.
Courtland Center will certainly want the additional foot traffic around the mall, too. As soon as we know an official date, we'll share it here.
