Tommy’s Express Car Wash Plans Four New Locations in Mid-Michigan

In an era when business closings are practically an everyday occurrence (all eyes are on you, Walgreens & Rite Aid), we're glad to announce that several new car wash locations are being planned for Mid-Michigan.

Tommy's Express Car Wash plans to open four new locations throughout the area. Two are slated for Genesee County, one in Bay City, and another in Midland.

Tommy's first Genesee County location opened last summer on Miller Road in Flint Township. The company broke ground on a new Grand Blanc Township location earlier this week, on S. Saginaw near Dort Highway. It's slated to open in early 2025.

The national chain currently operates 27 locations throughout Michigan's Lower Peninsula.

Where Are the New Tommy's Car Wash Locations Planned?

In addition to Grand Blanc Township, another Genesee County location is planned for 5280 W. Pierson Road in Mt. Morris Township, near the Home Depot.

According to WJRT-TV, the Bay City location will be located on Wilder Road near Walmart. A Midland location is in the works as well, slated to be constructed at 1303 S. Saginaw Road.

Free Car Washes?

When Tommy's Express Car Wash opened on Miller Road in Flint Township, the company offered free car washes for its first three days in business. Will that be the case with their new locations? We don't know, but our fingers are crossed.

Every Car Wash Earns Money for Charity

For every vehicle washed at Tommy's, the company makes a charitable donation to Water Mission. According to their website:

"With your help, our car washes work to protect our environment and conserve our resources, providing real benefits that we pass onto Water Mission to offer vital clean water where it’s needed most."

Tommy's Express Car Wash is open seven days a week.
