Tom Gores, Consumers Energy Pledge $2 Million to Flint Promise – The Good News [VIDEO]

“Every student who works hard deserves a chance to earn a college degree."

Detroit Pistons owner and Flint native Tom Gores and Consumers Energy have pledged $2 million for the Flint Promise campaign, which aims to help kids who graduate from Flint high schools to pursue a college education.

The announcement was made yesterday at the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.

The scholarships will hopefully be in place for the 2018-2019, as there are more details to be ironed out. Every little bit helps, right?
