The big  170th year for the Genesee County Fair  is underway and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. The fair will run through Sunday and has something for everyone.

The fair is packed with activities and attractions including rodeos, carnival rides, fair food, music and a live shark encounter. Executive Director Chris Miller told us, "It's really a fair for the entire family".

Saturday, August 24th-

1 p.m.: Midway Opens Featuring Unlimited Rides until 10:00 p.m. for $25

5:30 p.m.: Cow Calling Contest

6 p.m.: Corn hole Tournament

7 p.m.: Grandstand Event: Ram presents Rodeo

Sunday, August 25th-

9 a.m.: Western Speed & Action Horse Show

2:30 p.m.: Grumpiest Cat Contest

3:30 p.m.: Ugly Dog Contest

7:30 p.m.: Pure Pro Wrestling
