Fair Concession Stand Will Be Set Up in Fenton This Week
If you've got a rumble in your tummy for fried Oreos or corndogs, we have your solution.
At the beginning of June, we found out that fair concessions stands are basically renting themselves out to local businesses for the summer since there are no fairs to be had right now. One of the first that we saw was Paradise Concessions out of Milford - they posted a plea to residents about having them out to their business:
Please share... Because of covid-19 most fairs and festivals in the state of Michigan are canceled until 2021. As a result we will be setting up at different businesses who are willing to host us throughout the summer.
And that's exactly what people are doing. On Thursday, June 18th, Paradise Concessions set up shop at the Walmart in Clio with elephant ears, funnel cakes, hand-dipped corn dogs, deep-fried Oreo's and fresh-squeezed lemonade for sale. And it was HUGE hit, as you can probably imagine.
They don't charge businesses to come out and set up shop; they've just been looking for high-traffic areas. And this week, they'll be in Fenton for all of your fair noms.
FENTON THIS WEEK ... PLEASE HELP US OUT BY SHARING THIS POST ... With most of the fairs and festivals cancelled in the state this summer everybody still needs to get their fair food fix. We will be set up at Midwest mercantile 14305 Fenton road across from sagebrush cantina. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, July 9th through July 11th. 11 a.m. till approximately 8 p.m.
