The annual Eastern Michigan State Fair in Imlay City, Michigan is one of the summer's most popular Lapeer County events.

You can now add rock climbing walls to the many reasons that I don't like going to carnivals and fairs. A child was injured over the weekend when he fell 20 feet off a rock climbing wall at the Wyandotte Street Art Fair. Allison Trombley, a woman that was attending the fair said that while they were in line to climb the rock wall, the child that was in front of them made it to the top of the wall.

Today kicks off the 170th year for the Genesee County Fair and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.
