Mott Foundation Will Spend Millions to Redevelop Buick City Site – The Good News

The redevelopment will add around 300 jobs to the area.

The C.S. Mott Foundation has allocated a good portion of $23 million to redevloping more of the Buick City site with access to the Flint River, trails, and buildings designed for warehousing, packaging and light industrial businesses.

The Michigan Strategic Foundation approved $6.5 million of the funding yesterday. The Mott Foundation will then contribute over $16 million.
