They have no idea where his journey has taken him over the past four months, they only care that Jinks is back home with his family.

Jinks, a 3-year-old Australian shepherd, and furbaby of owners Don and Kim Carpus, went missing back in July during a camping trip in Presque Isle County. The couple, from Milan, Michigan, had been camping in the Ocqueoc Falls State Forest Campground when Jinks went missing. Kim even stayed an extra 3 weeks at the campground hoping he would return, but the situation seemed hopeless.

Now, this is where you may just start to believe in Christmas miracles. Just last week by Susan and Randy Hitts, both pastors, discovered a visitor hiding under their RV in Charlevoix. It was none other than Jinks. After 4 months of not one sighting, Jinks was found...almost 80 miles from where he was last seen.

"This dog was like in shock," Randy Hitts told the Detroit Free Press. " I could see there were tags on him and I immediately called the number. The dog had probably covered hundreds of miles through the wilderness and wound up lying under my RV," said Randy who is Pastor at the DrawBridge Life Church in Charlevoix . "He had the incredible luck to be alive."

The big reunion took place when the Hitts family the Carpus' met up in Pinconning. Nobody will ever really know what Jinks has been up to over the past four months, but according to the Detroit Free Press, the special reunion has made big news. Randy Hitts posted the story on Facebook and  there were responses coming from all over the United States and as far away as the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, Ireland, Austria, Romania, Canada, and South Africa.

Jinks was a little worse for the wear, but after a bath, a good meal, and some love, he's right back where he needs to be...home for the holidays.

Check out the reunion below.
