A spokesperson for the Fenton Police Department told us that the dog, which appeared to be some sort of poodle, was found with it's foot stuck in a trap.
Injured Dog Found in Fenton Quickly Transported to Animal Control For Medical Treatment
Because the fur was so overgrown it was hard to determine the exact breed of the dog. Our contact at the Fenton Police department also informed us that they weren't even sure whether it was a male or female dog because Animal Control was on scene within minutes and whisked it off to their facility to provide medical attention.

We tried reaching out to Genesee County Animal Control just before 4:00pm this afternoon, but their automated message said that any calls after 3:30pm would not be answered until the next business day, so the information we have right now is limited.
Authorities Hope To Identify Dog's Owner
If you know this dog or it's owner, you can contact Genesee County Animal Control. But again, do it before 3:30 in the afternoon on business days. The Fenton Police Department's post on Facebook said:
