A massive baked goods recall now includes more than two million pastry products sold in Michigan and other states due to concerns they're contaminated with listeria.

The Food and Drug Administration issued the original recall on January 7, but upgraded it to a Class II recall, defined as "a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote."

Pastries Sold Throughout the US Recalled

The recall involves baked goods produced by the Indiana-based company FGF LLC. The products were produced before December 13, 2024, and distributed to grocery stores across the United States. Pastries sold at grocery stores are branded under various private labels. The recall also includes select Dunkin' Donuts products.

According to the FDA, the products are being recalled due to a "potential for contamination with listeria monocytogenes."
