Kracker, who was born Matthew Shafer in Mt. Clemons, Michigan, has released five albums. His latest single, 'Floatin' (music video below) was released in 2018. Although it didn't appear on the Billboard US Singles chart or the Hot Country Songs chart, it did receive a fair amount of airplay on country radio.

Expect a mixture of well-known songs like Follow Me, Drift Away, Smile, and Good to Be Me (a personal favorite) along with some new music. Kracker tells the Lapeer County Press that he plans to have a lot of fun with the audience as he brings his unique blend of country and rock to Lapeer.

“It’s very interactive,” he says. “It’s meant to be a party, and I want everybody involved. Each time we go on stage, I want people to leave smiling.”

Uncle Kracker is also scheduled to appear at Flint's Machine Shop Concert Lounge on Saturday, October 9. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
