Although the Fourth of July falls on a Saturday this year, a few Mid-Michigan communities are lighting up the sky with fireworks ahead of the holiday.

As you will see below, fireworks are scheduled for tonight at Showboat Park in Chesaning, while Frankenmuth will light up the sky on Friday, July 3, 2026.

This list is definitely not as long as I thought it would be. Am I mistaken to think there were more spots to watch fireworks last year in Mid-Michigan?

At least this is a start when determining your Fourth of July festivities.
