Genesee County Sheriff Shouts Out The Machine Shop In Flint

Do not be surprised if you see Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson attending a concert at the world-famous Machine Shop in Flint.

The popular Michigan sheriff is a music lover just like you and me. As a matter of fact, I saw him at The Machine Shop for the Charley Crockett concert (which was amazing by the way) just a few weeks ago.

Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson recently made a personalized video thanking The Machine Shop owner, Kevin Zink, for doing so much for the Flint community and for bands and artists around the country.

As you will see in the video below, Sheriff Swanson is even sporting a super cool Machine Shop shirt while on duty. How cool is that?

Sheriff Swanson was instrumental in starting the Genesee Human Oppression Strike Team (G.H.O.S.T.) in 2019. Since then, G.H.O.S.T has arrested hundreds of predators on charges of criminal sexual conduct and human trafficking.

Sheriff Chris Swanson made national headlines in 2020 when he embraced and walked with protestors seeking justice for George Floyd (video below). He has also started educational programs for inmates in Genesee County (I.G.N.I.T.E) and is a strong advocate for animals too.

Hey, they don't call him the people's sheriff for nothing.
