Gov. Whitmer Calls Michigan Boy who was Filling Potholes
"We need to take action to fix the d*** roads. It shouldn't be on our kids to do it for us."
We talked about this during one of our "Did ya HEAR?" segments on the morning show this week - a 12-year-old boy named Monte Scott from Muskegon Heights was caught on camera filling potholes by his neighbors.
He told the local media that he didn't want other people messing up their cars like his mom did, so he grabbed a shovel from his backyard and started filling in the potholes with dirt.
And on Friday morning, Monte got a phone call from Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to say "thank you."
