A waitress who's been serving customers at Gillie's Coney Island for the past 25 years will get a little help from her coworkers and community members this Monday.

Longtime-employee Debby Jones was diagnosed with stage four melanoma. Next week, she'll undergo surgery to remove a large mass of lymph nodes.

"A little mole turned into something, I mean life changing. Because now, I'm just I'm freaked out. I really am so scared of what the surgery's gonna do," Jones tells WJRT. "But, right now, we're at a 50/50 chance."

Monday (10/24) from 4 to 9 pm, half the sales at Gillie's Coney Island will go toward Debby's medical bills. The restaurant is located at 6524 N. Dort Hwy. in Mt. Morris.
