If you're a fan of limited-edition candy flavors, you'll probably want to make a stop at Kroger.

M&M's has just dropped a new, limited-edition flavor that Michigan shoppers won't find at Meijer, Walmart, or Target. The candy is being sold exclusively at Kroger stores and the company's affiliated chains, including Mariano's, King Soopers, Fred Meyer, and Ralphs.

M&M’s Introduces Exclusive, Mouth-Watering Flavor

So what's the new flavor everyone's buzzing about?

This one will take you right back to your grandmother's kitchen. M&M's just introduced “Banana Nut Bread,” an intriguing new flavor that captures the warm, cozy taste of freshly baked banana bread with a chocolatey twist.

According to AllRecipes, the candy starts with a classic peanut M&M. But instead of the usual milk chocolate coating, it’s wrapped in banana bread-flavored milk chocolate.

Will Banana Nut Bread M&Ms be Available at Other Stores?

As for how long this exclusive run lasts, that’s still up in the air. While Kroger has the only confirmed rollout for now, limited-edition releases like this sometimes expand to other retailers if demand takes off. For the moment, though, it looks like Kroger — and its affiliated stores — have the inside track.

Have you already thought of what homemade cookies will taste like next time you add these to your favorite recipe? I have!

Either way, this is one of those flavors you’ll probably want to try before it disappears. I definitely need to grab a bag to keep in my desk.
