Kroger Is Giving Away 100,000 Free Pints of Ice Cream

Summer officially begins this weekend, and Kroger is celebrating by giving away thousands of free pints of ice cream, including to shoppers here in Michigan.

The grocery chain announced it's giving away 100,000 free pints of Kroger Brand ice cream, its biggest ice cream giveaway ever. The promotion coincides with the start of summer and the launch of Kroger's new limited-edition All-American Ice Cream Collection.

How to Get Your Free Ice Cream at Kroger

Starting at noon ET on Friday, June 19, shoppers can visit FreeKrogerIceCream.com to download a single-use digital coupon. The coupons are available while supplies last, so you'll want to act quickly.

Once you claim your coupon, you'll have until July 3 to redeem it at participating Kroger stores and other Kroger family locations. The coupon can be used on one of Kroger's new summer flavors or one of its classic ice cream offerings.

Seventh Inning Swirl

Caramel popcorn-flavored ice cream.

Sweet as Cherry Pie

Cherry pie ice cream loaded with pie pieces.

Strawberry banana ice cream with pineapple chunks and chocolate swirls.

The new flavors were inspired by classic summertime memories and Americana favorites.

If history is any indication, these coupons disappear quickly, so if free ice cream sounds good, you'll want to set a reminder for Friday at noon.
