The group was organized by the owner of a local pet rescue, who felt a calling to do good for animals affected by disaster...and their humans.

Nicole King started collecting supplies two years ago after tornadoes ravaged parts of Texas and Florida and delivering them with the help of volunteers. She collected everything from toiletries, non-perishable food items, bedding and more.

Now, with the severe weather that has hit our neighbors to the south, Nicole has decided to collect much-needed support items for those in Ohio.

You probably know of Nicole if you live in the area - not only does she own a local pet rescue and collect items for those hit by disaster, but she also helps to feed the homeless on the bricks on Saginaw.

Standing ovation for Nicole and her fellow volunteers - you are what is GOOD NEWS about Flint.
