1. Flint Institute of Arts

The Flint Institute of Arts is a great place to take an artsy guy or girl. Do a little research on the galleries they have to offer; this way you will know a little knowledge on the subject, plus you won't walk into an exhibit that they may not like. 2. Flint Farmers' Market

After you're done at the Flint Institute of Arts, you should head over to the Flint Farmers' Market. Here you can get locally focused items for a picnic. They have produce, cheese, poultry, meat, spices, wine, pasta, breads and bakery products, flowers, gifts, ice cream, desserts, a full service café and an art gallery. 3. The Machine Shop

Now this may not seem like the normal place you would want to take a date to some, but The Machine Shop has some of the best local and national acts come through in the state. 4. Stepping Stone Falls

Stepping Stone Fall are manmade waterfalls that is a great place to take a date, especially if you took my advice on going to the Flint Farmers' Market and picked up some items for a picnic. After your picnic, you can take a walk around the park, view the falls or just take a break and get to know each other. 5. The Whiting

If your looking for a more "classy" style date, then why not choose a show at the Whiting? The Whiting has shows for all tastes; comedy, ballet, concerts and more.
