Detroit Lions ‘Add’ McDonald’s to the Roster With Free Fries

This football season just got a whole lot tastier! We know the  Lions will give us another amazing season to celebrate, but why not kick it up with free food?

McDonald's of Michigan is teaming up with the Detroit Lions to bring fans a crispy, golden celebration. After every game where the Lions snag an interception, fans can score a FREE McDonald's french fry. Fans can redeem an offer for a free fry of any size with a minimum purchase of $1.

The special Lions offer is only available at participating McDonald’s. You can redeem the offer starting the day after the interception is made for 48 hours. You'll be able to score the special offer through the McDonald’s app, including preseason, the regular season, and playoffs for both home and away games.

This isn't the first time Michigan McDonald's celebrated our Detroit Lions with free food. Last year the fast food giant offered a buy-one Big Mac and get a second one free the day after the game with a Lions interception.

The Detroit Lions kick off their regular season at home on September 8th with a prime-time game on NBC hosting the L.A. Rams.
