The Canadian couple have been dating for three years, and they're both animal lovers.

Louise Veronneau and Dominic Husson traveled to California the Cat House on the Kings, the largest no-kill cat sanctuary in the country.

Louise had visited the sanctuary a few years ago, and put it on her bucket list to return. When she and Dominic got engaged, they decided to ask the sanctuary owner Lynea Lattanzio to become ordained so she could marry them...at the cat sanctuary.
"When I was first asked to do it I said no I didn't want to do it," she told ABC 30. "I was afraid I would make a mess and screw it up - you know, forget my lines."

Eventually, she agreed, and said that she may even do it again! Of the venue choice, Louise said, "I saw that we were sharing the same values. These are values these are the basics of our relationship and out love for animals and beings."
