Cooling Centers Available in Genesee County during Heat Wave

If you don't have air conditioning, you can make your way out to one of the many cooling centers in our area this week.

Temperatures in the Midwest this week are being called "dangerous" and "oppressive" as the heat indices shoot above 100 degrees by the weekend. The United Way of Genesee County has announced the following cooling centers for public use:

*Brennan Community Center: 1301 Pingree Ave. in Flint

*The Eastside Senior Citizens Center: 3065 N Genesee Road

*Burton Senior Center: 3410 S Grand Traverse St.
