After some cooler, fall-like temperatures, Michigan is in for a scorcher of a heat wave to close out the rest of the summer. Check out how hot it's going to be.

Flint Community Schools will be closed for the rest of the week with Friday being undecided due to the current heatwave. Flint Schools have yet to get their air conditioning together for each classroom. Forcing the Flint schools to close down until the upgrades come through...

With temperatures soaring into the upper 90s and feeling like the 100s, Swartz Creek has a schedule that will help residents keep cool.

If you don't have air conditioning, you can make your way out to one of the many cooling centers in our area this week.

And the saying rings true again...everybody is offended by something nowadays.

With much of the nation in the throes of of sizzling heat wave, few people are hit as hard as the poor. From Texas to Minnesota the misery was widespread, and the east coast is due to feel the pain in the next few days. Seventeen states issued heat watches, warnings, or advisories. The heat index surpassed 100 degrees in many places.
