We couldn't be prouder!! A film created by Flushing resident James Baade will be preserved in the archives of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Baade is Creative Services Director for Cars 108 and its five sister stations, and his film 'Flint's Best Rock' is a documentary that highlights the glory days of the once-great 105 FM.

The film features interviews and memories from former staff members who were part of WWCK (known then simply as '105') when it was considered one of the best rock stations in the country. It highlights the rise and fall of 105 from its beginning, to its eventual demise when new owners fired all of the on-air personalities and abandoned the rock format.

Baade began working on the project while enrolled in a film class at Mott Community College, but it quickly became a labor of love.

After contacting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Baade was contacted almost immediately. "Would you be interested in donating a DVD copy of it so that we can preserve it for the future and so our visitors can view it here in our Library and Archives?"

Take a look at 'Flint's Best Rock' below, and if you didn't get a chance to see Jim's Interview with ABC-12, take a look at that here.
