Young Entrepreneurs Open a Pop-Up Shop in Flint This Weekend
This Saturday some of Flint's youngest entrepreneurs will open pop-up shops at the Flint Farmers' Market to sell their goods and services. The first YouthQuest Inc Business Fair takes place at the Flint Farmers' Market on Saturday, May 5th.
Students participating in the business fair have been through entrepreneurship lessons as part of YouthQuest's afterschool program. While in classes the students learned about marketing, business plans and competed in pitch competitions, Shark Tank style.
At the Farmers' Market this Saturday you can visit the pop-up shops for the entrepreneurs and see what product or service they have invented. You can also check out the imagination stations that will feature ideas that are still in development.
