Flint’s Pink Night Palooza Returns With Cowboy Flair and Community Spirit
The Flint Farmers’ Market will glow pink on Wednesday, October 29, as the community gathers for one of Mid-Michigan’s most uplifting fundraisers, Pink Night Palooza. From 6 to 9 p.m., Financial Plus Credit Union and the Hurley Foundation will team up once again to Give Cancer the Boot, bringing cowboy flair to the fight against breast cancer.
A Night of Hope and Western Fun
This western-themed night of hope will feature the event’s signature bra-artistry fashion show, a high-energy live auction led by Sheriff Chris Swanson alongside Tarnesa “Nurse T” Martin and McKenzie Miller, and live music from local country artist Madison Olivia.

Guests will also enjoy food from local vendors, prizes, and plenty of entertainment all for a great cause.
More Than Just a Fundraiser
For more than 17 years, Financial Plus and Hurley have joined forces to raise funds for Hurley’s Breast Cancer Navigation Program, which helps local patients cover groceries, bills, medications, and even wigs. Since 2024 alone, the program has provided more than $60,000 in direct assistance to Genesee County residents, ensuring no one faces cancer alone.

'Year after year, Pink Night Palooza stands as a testament to what partnership and purpose can achieve,' said Karima Amlani, President of the Hurley Foundation. Ciara Kolasinski, Community Impact Manager at Financial Plus Credit Union, added, 'The love, creativity, and generosity of the community give hope to patients and families who need it most.'
