"This is some bulls---!" Those are Denise Ezell's words, after being denied a $127,000 prize she claims she won at a Detroit casino. Ezell has filed a lawsuit, claiming she is entitled to the jackpot.

Ezell filed the lawsuit on Wednesday (6/26) in US District Court Eastern District of Michigan, alleging that Detroit's MGM Grand failed to pay after she won $127,000 in October of last year plying the casino's Progressive Blackjack game. She is seeking $127,000 and $75,000 in damages.

Why is MGM Grand Casino Refusing to Pay?

According to the lawsuit, Ezell was playing the Progressive Blackjack table game when the dealer announced that she had won the $127,000 jackpot. However, when she went to claim the prize, a pit boss told her that she was not eligible because she was trespassing at the casino.

"I said, 'What the F---?'" recalled Ezell, who continued to protest after being asked to leave. "I said, 'You know, this is some bulls---!'"

Ezell spoke with a member of the casino's security team who told her, "Don't worry about them saying you were trespassing, we are going to get you your jackpot."

That team member later recanted, saying it was "out of his pay grade."

Woman Accused of Panhandling at Casino

When Ezell was informed that the casino was not going to award her jackpot, she was told that it related to an incident in 2015 when she was accused of panhandling at the casino.

According to CBS Detroit, Ezell claims that the panhandling accusation followed an argument with her cousin that took place at the establishment.

She and the cousin had a disagreement about money while the two were playing blackjack.

"A security guard came up and said, 'You're bothering this patron,'" Ezell tells the Detroit Free Press. "I said, 'This is my god---- cousin.'"

Ezell was escorted out of the building, but the lawsuit alleges she was not informed that she had been banned from the property and continued to patronize the casino over the following nine years.

The lawsuit claims that MGM Grand Casino's failure to pay has caused harm and injuries to her.
