Winter Coat Giveaway This Friday in Flint

The event is held annually by the Michigan Knights of Columbus.

310,000 coats have been distributed via the program in 49 states and 10 Canadian provinces. This year, the giveaway will take place at the North End Soup Kitchen on Friday, November 24th from 10 AM - 1 PM.

Last year, the group giveaway over 400 coats to local kids. If your child needs one, come down to the soup kitchen (located at 735 E. Stewart Ave., between Crissman and Billings streets) this Friday between 10 and 1. A child MUST be present to receive a coat, or the parent must bring their birth certificate.
