The Rag Top was the home of the Big Ass Burger on North Franklin Avenue in Flint. These burgers were the size of a round birthday cake. As a matter of fact, most patrons would cut it like a cake and divide it among the table.

Unfortunately, if you search 'Rag Top Lounge Flint, Michigan' not a lot of information comes up, no closing date, pictures, or anything. What did come up was this short description,

Talk about hitting the nail on the head. The Rag Top was definitely known as a good time bar. The bar was also home to many Banana 101.5 events back in the day with former Flint jocks Brian Beddow, Carson Ford, and Eric Thomas. Talk about a blast from the past.

If memory serves correct the owner went by 'Big Al' - hence the concept of the Big Ass Burger. If you have any memories of the Rag Top, we would love to hear them. Trust me, it is totally understandable if your memories are a bit fuzzy.

It's fun to take a stroll down memory lane, who knows - maybe we were at the Rag Top at the same time many moons ago. The spot will always have a special place in my heart.
