Are you ready for the Warrior Dash this weekend in Mt. Morris? Last week, Hurley Health and Fitness offered some tips for those who are participating but even if you're not doing the race, you can still come out and support the event. To get ready for it, Red Frog Events and the Genesee County Parks are hosting a press conference on Friday at 6am at the E.A. Cummings Center to kick off the event.

If you want to come out on Friday, you're encouraged to wear your Warrior costumes which will really get you ready for the weekend. The group also wants to make it aware that Michigan is expected to be one of the top three largest Warrior Dash races yet, according to Red Frog Events Communications Director, Lauren Shield.

A press release also states that just under 26,000 people are taking part in the event and it's expected that 60,000 residents will be there either racing or hanging out at the beer tent.

I'm encouraging everyone to come out to the E.A. Cummings Center this weekend. I'm actually doing the race with some friends so look for pink tutu's in the 11:30am wave on Saturday. I still think I'm going to do cartwheels over the fire just to show you my warrior side. Hopefully we'll see you out there this weekend.
