Volunteer Registration Is Now Open For The Ally Challenge in Grand Blanc
Do you want to walk behind the ropes at this years Ally Challenge in Grand Blanc? Your chance to work the PGA Champions Tour event is happening right now.
This is the fourth year for the Ally Challenge at Warwick Hills in Grand Blanc. Everyone knows that the Ally Challenge features some of the best golfers in the world, but the tournament also raises a ton of money for charity. The tournament starts August 23rd, and there are many jobs for volunteers to sign up for.
I was lucky enough to volunteer as one of the announcers at the 2019 Ally Challenge. It might sound kind of fan-boyish but just getting to stand on the other side of the ropes and interact with the players was a dream come true for me. In my opinion, I had the best volunteer job on the course, but there are so many different ways that you can help out.
You can see a complete list of the volunteer positions needed here, and when you decide to sign up, you can get registered here.
You should know that there is a small fee that you will pay to become a volunteer of $45. This fee helps to offset the costs associated with everything you get as a volunteer. If you do end up volunteering, here is a list of the perks you'll receive for your work.
- Ally Challenge golf shirt & hat
- Ally Challenge commemorative pin
- Meals for each day you work
- Post tournament party on Sunday for volunteers
If you have some free time during the week of August 23rd, I definitely recommend volunteering.
