Update On I-75 And I-475 Road Closures From Yesterday [VIDEO]

I-75 re-opened last night just before 6pm. There's more.

As you are most likely aware..Large portions of both I-75 and I-475 were shut down Saturday night through Sunday afternoon after severe storms knocked power lines onto the highway.

The shutdowns stretched from Hill Road to Dixie Highway on I-75. The I-475 ramps in those areas were also closed. As of last night (Sunday) night, all northbound and southbound lanes were reopened, with the exception of the Dort Highway (M-54) ramps.

There is a however with this. Grand Blanc Township police say both northbound and southbound I-75 will close back down Monday night around 8:00 p.m. The how long and why i'm not sure of yet.
