TJ Maxx in Flint Closing, Reopening in Fenton

I'd love to see a Target back there! Wait a second...

Apparently the TJ Maxx at Center and Lapeer Roads is going to be closing and reopening on Silver Lake Road in Fenton.

What the HECK is going on over there? First it was Target (rest in peace) , then Bob Evans, then Party City and now...the Maxx.

The new Fenton locaiton is planning a grand opening on August 15th where the first 500 customers will receive reusable shopping bags.

Seriously though - that area looks like a ghost town already. Are there any plans for redevelopmnent? There has to be SOMETHING. Right?!
