Major League Baseball may suspend as many as 20 players named in what could turn out to be the largest crackdown on performance-enhancing drugs in MLB history. Detroit Tigers shortstop Jhonny Peralta is among those linked to the scandal.

MLB officials could hand out 100-game suspensions to each of the players involved.

Peralta has adamantly denied using performance-enhancing drugs in the past, but his name is linked to records at the Biogenesis Clinic in Miami. Tony Bosch, the clinic's director, is expected to cooperate with MLB officials.
