Hundreds of families are still picking up the pieces after the catastrophic flooding in Midland and Sanford last week.

Tiffany Riley at Thelen Kia is stepping up to try and help as many of those families as possible. With the help of everyone at the Thelen Auto Group in Bay City, Tiffany has organized a donation drive to help everyone impacted by the floods.

With the unbelievable destruction that the floods caused, there is a need for pretty much everything. The videos of houses floating away, or the lakes that were drained after the damn failed are heartbreaking.

This would be an impossible situation to deal with under normal circumstances, but the fact that it happened during the Coronavirus pandemic is inconceivable. It's easy to get wrapped up in our own problems and frustrations during the pandemic, but it's important to realize that there are others with much greater need.

I have friends and family dealing with the floods, and they are still trying to wrap their heads around what happened. There is no way to comprehend the feeling of losing everything in a matter of hours. If you are not able to help with donations, please take a second to share the information with as many people as you can. Thank you.
