Teens on Autism Spectrum Elected to GB Homecoming Court – The Good News
Congratulations to Adam Raysin and Meredith Sanford!!!
Both students are sophomores at Grand Blanc High School, and both were elected by their peers to be on homecoming court this year. And they're both on the autism spectrum.
They had the support of the entire student body and actually found out that they were on the court while they were in the office with their parents, waiting for counseling.
Grand Blanc High School is continuing its reputation of acceptance and positivity - they had a transgender prince in 2016, which the Westboro Baptist Church was in town to protest against on Friday. Regardless, the school had signs of love and acceptance throughout the hallways.
