Surprisingly, Flint Will Now Have Two City Halls. Why?
The City of Flint is about to conduct an experiment for residents on the north side of the city.
Near Clio & Pierson Roads, residents will see something new in 2024.

Being easily accessible to residents is the goal.
Putting a former Flint bank location to use.
For all of next year, the City of Flint will, basically, have two city hall locations.
The former Huntington Bank (just closed in 2023) will be the site of a second Flint City Hall, of sorts, according to MLive.
Arguably, it's a much newer structure than the current, massive Downtown Flint location.
What services would be available at Flint's second City Hall?
Residents could pay city utility bills by walking in or using the drive-thru.
That's especially convenient for senior citizens that don't feel like navigating Downtown Flint.
Police will also have an office in the building along with city public health services.
Where is Flint's second City Hall located?
Residents near the Hallwood Plaza will know exactly where this is located.
Just down from the main entrance is the former Huntington Bank which will serve as Flint's experimental satellite offices.
4813 Clio Road isn't too far from the Pierson Road I-75 area.
The second location will be evaluated through the end of 2024 to see if it should become a permanent resource.
