Severe Thunderstorm Caught Us All Off Guard Yesterday [VIDEO]

WOW! The rain left as fast as it arrived. I got caught in it yesterday..did you?

The thunderstorm left flooding and power outages in Shiawassee and Genesee counties last night. About 1,100 customers in Genesee County and more than 800 in Shiawassee County lost power due to the heavy rains.

Drivers, including myself, had to pull off for a few minutes yesterday while driving along I-75 and I-69 in Genesee and Shiawassee County because of the heavy rains.A day of flooding and lightening as well.

One car was stuck under the Saginaw Street viaduct in Grand Blanc because of flooding. The road was closed, but it's now back open to traffic.Cook Road Elementary was hit by lightning from the storm. Looking like things will clear for a few days...thats good cause I've had enough weather drama.
